TIRUMALA, 05 OCTOBER 2026: With a little less than a week to go for the commencement of the Navaratri Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala, TTD EO Sri M Ravichandra, along with the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and other top brass officials, reviewed the preparedness of various departments for the same.
The meeting took place at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Monday, where District Collector Dr Venkateswar, SP Sri Subbarayudu, besides TTD JEOs Dr Sharath, Sri Gopinath, and CVSO Sri Murali Krishna, participated.
The EO appreciated the coordinated teamwork of all departments of TTD with Police and other district departments towards the successful conduct of the nine-day Salakatla Brahmotsavams that were observed from September 15 to 23 during last month. He called on all the staff to continue the same team spirit during Navaratri Brahmotsavams also.

Earlier, the TTD Additional EO explained through the PowerPoint presentation that from September 14(Ankurarpanam) to September 23, each day, on average, over 73,500 devotees were provided darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy comfortably with perfect planning, which contributed to 60% of the mega religious event. He said that with the cancellation of VIP breaks, Privilege Darshans etc., devotees had a hassle-free and comfortable darshan, besides having darshan of Vahana Sevas also. For Navaratri Brahmotsavams also we are contemplating a similar strategy as this time 20% more devotees are expected to take part in brahmotsavams owing to Dusshera Holidays.
