RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JANUARY 16, 2026: Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Women and Child Welfare Danasari Anusuya (Seethakka) has visited Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple town and offered special prayers in Vemulawada on Friday.
Following the renovation of the main Vemulawada temple, the Minister visited Sri Bheemeshwara Temple, an affiliated temple of SRR devasthanam, and offered special prayers. She was accorded a traditional welcome by the temple priests along with the Government Whip and Vemulawada legislator Adi Srinivas.

On the other hand, there were heavy pilgrims at the Vemulawada temple shrine during the Sankranti vacations. Besides, the devotees are also making a beeline to Vemulawada, as is a tradition for them to offer prayers to Shiva before going on the ensuing biennial Medaram Samakka-Sarakka jatara.
