As part of this ritual, the Goddess will be awakened with Suprabhata Seva in the early morning. Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be observed from 6.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. During this ritual, the temple premises, including the walls, roofs, pooja articles, and other items, will be thoroughly cleansed with water.
Sacred water mixed with aromatic substances, such as namakopu, srichurnam, kasturi turmeric, pachaku, edible camphor, sandalwood powder, kumkum, and kichiligadda, will be sprinkled throughout the temple as part of the purification process.
Devotees will be allowed for the darshan of the Goddess from 9.30 a.m. onwards.
