HYDERABAD, MARCH 13, 2025: The Women Empowerment Cell of Government Degree College Rajendranagar grandly celebrated International Women’s Day. Himabindu, the Principal, emphasised the importance of education for empowering women. She said that when girls receive a good education, they can build better futures for themselves, support their families, and contribute to society bt taking on leadership roles.
Sushma Mahinder Reddy, former Municipal chairman, Shamshabad & Siri Welfare Association Founder, addressed why women’s empowerment is important, the difficulties women still face, and simple ways to support and uplift them.she is also said that we can break stereotypes, promote gender equality, and build a better future for everyone.
S.D.Bhavani, Women Empowerment Cell coordinator, highlighted the achievements of women today in politics, business, and science & Technology. Later, the Chief guest, Sushma and M. Himabindu, Principal, appreciated the college women’s faculty contributions and felicitated. Further, some of the girls students were appreciated and encouraged for their special talents.
