TIRUPATI, APRIL 18, 2026: TTD JEO (Health & Education) Dr A. Sharath has directed the concerned officials to complete the construction of the new building of Sri Padmavathi Children’s Super Speciality Hospital in Tirupati within the prescribed deadline. On Friday, he inspected the progress of the construction works along with officials.
On this occasion, the JEO stated that one room on each floor should be developed as a model unit, with comprehensive planning to include engineering, electrical, fire safety, medical equipment, and other facilities. He emphasised that all rooms must be provided with infrastructure according to the approved layout.
He instructed that pending works should be completed quickly in coordination with the respective departments, and that medical and support facilities required for patient services in each room should be arranged according to specific standards. If necessary, reports on best practices being implemented in reputed hospitals should be collected and adopted.

Later, he inspected the six floors of the new building and the helipad arranged on the top floor, offering several suggestions. He then held a review meeting with officials near the hospital to assess the progress of construction works.
