
JAGTIAL, MAY 11, 2025: Minister for Health C Damodara Rajanarasimha, along with Government Whip and Dhamapuri MLA Adluri Laxman Kumar, visited Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy devasthanam located on the banks of the river Godavari in Dhamapuri temple town in Jagtial district.
The temple authorities accorded a traditional welcome to the Health Minister with ‘purnakumbam’ swagatham amid chanting of Vedic hymns. The Minister along with the Government Whip, participated in the Narasimha Swamy Jayanthi celebrations at the temple shrine. They participated in the presiding deity’s Abhishekham and homam. Later, the temple authorities presented ‘sesha vastram’ to the Minister and portrait of the temple shrine and prasadam.

Earlier, the temple authorities had colourfully decorated the temple shrine with flowers, garlands and mango and banana leaves on the occasion of Narasimha Swamy jayanthi celebrations. On this occasion, the priests have conducted special pujas for the presiding deity.
