This is third jatara visit for Tamilisai Soundararajan
MEDARAM (MULUGU DT), FEBRUARY 23, 2024: Telangana State Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundarajan along with Union Minister Arjun Munda visited the Medaram shrine and offered prayers to Samakka-Sarakka at the main altars on Friday.
Minister for Panchayat Raj Seethakka, Minister for IT D Sridhar Babu, MLA Gandra Satyanarayana, Collector Ila Tripathi, special officers Krishna Aditya, RV Karnan, SP Shabaresh and others received them.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that she had set a record by visiting Medaram jatara on three occasions. She said that she was very much privileged to the jatara and conveyed her wishes to the devotees. She said that she had adopted six tribal villages and taking up development with the support of government.
Earlier, Minister D Sridhar Babu also offered prayers at the altars of Samakka-Saralakka and offered bangaram weighing equal quantity of his weight as an offering.
