
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JULY 08, 2025: Government Whip and Vemulawada legislator Aadi Srinivas along with Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha, has formally launched the developmental works worth Rs 34.50 lakhs at Sri Anjaneya Swamy devasthanam in Agraharam of Vemulawada Urban mandal on Tuesday.
On this occasion, the temple authorities accorded a traditional welcome to the Government whip and Collector amid chanting of Vedic hymns. After offering prayers to the presiding deity, the dignitaries participated in the developmental works.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Srinivas said that he was taking up development of the Vemulawada temple shrine at a cost of Rs 150 crore with the support of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other Ministers and added they would be calling tenders for the execution of developmental works worth Rs 76 crore in the third week of this month.
Stating that they had already taken up developmental works such as widening of roads in Vemulawada temple town, he said that they were taking all measures for the benefit of the pilgrims visiting the shrine, which had been increasing a lot. He also said that the small-time traders and others would benefit from the arrival of scores of devotees to the shrine.
The Government Whip promised to construct a Kalyana mandapam at Agraharam temple shrine. He also announced the construction of function halls in each mandal of his constituency for Rs 10 lakhs each.
