KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 06, 2026: Alphores Educational Institutions Chairman V Narender Reddy performed the celestial wedding of Godadevi with Sri Ranganadha Swamy at his residence in Karimnagar town on Tuesday with religious fervour and gaiety.
Goda Devi Kalyanam(Adal Kalyanam) is a sacred Hindu wedding ceremony celebrating the divine union of Goda Devi (Andal) an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi, with Lord Krishna (in the form of Lord Ranganatha) typically held at the end of Dhanurmasam, often on Bhogi or Kanuma, concluding the month-long Tiruppavai observances in Vishnu temples across South India.

It’s a major festival, signifying the fulfilment of Andal’s devotion and bringing blessings for family, prosperity, and peace, with grand celebrations involving temple processions and Vedic recitations. Vikasa Tarangini district president K Gautam Rao, Sri Kodanda Ramalayam temple honourable president Tummala Ramesh Reddy, temple secretary Musku Raji Redd, Vikasa Tarangini members Gone Raji Reddy, Uma Rani, Ch Aruna and others were also present.
