
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026: The nine-day Ganesh Chaturthi begins at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada of Rajanna-Sircilla district on Monday.
Government Whip and Vemulawada legislator Adi Srinivas participated in the Vinayaka Chaturthi puja celebrations at the statue installed at the Sri Bheemeshwara Swamy temple, along with the temple authorities, amid chanting of Vedic Hymns.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Adi Srinivas said he prayed for abundant rainfall, the filling of all irrigation projects, farmers to cultivate all varieties of crops, and the removal of all obstacles for the people of the state. He said that he had also prayed that the welfare schemes launched by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy continue forever.

Stating that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy released Rs 250 crore for the development of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam, he said that the works were progressing at a steady pace and so far 55 per cent of the works were completed, and the remaining would be completed at the earliest for the benefit of pilgrims visiting the ancient shrine.
