KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026: Trinity Prime Campus at Vavilalapalli in Karimnagar town celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with devotion and spiritual atmosphere on Monday.
Students participated in a range of creative and eco-friendly activities that brought colour, devotion, and festivity to the campus. The celebrations included the making of torans from mango and banana leaves and handmade sheets, artistic images of Lord Ganesha symbolising reverence, elephant masks representing Ganesha’s form, rangoli designs and posters, as well as eco-friendly clay idols.
The idol of Lord Ganesha was installed in the college premises according to the scriptures and special poojas were performed. Students and teachers participated in the puja conducted amidst the chanting of Vedic scholars and darshan of the Lord and received the offerings. They specially prayed to the Lord that there should be no obstacles in the future and studies of the students.
As part of these celebrations, a special awareness programme was organised to educate about the importance of environmental protection. Explaining the harm caused by idols made with chemical colours viz Plaster of Paris, everyone was called upon to use ‘eco-friendly’ clay Ganesha idols.
Students also shared traditional festive delicacies, adding flavour to the occasion. The activities not only showcased the talent and imagination of the learners but also spread the important message of sustainability and environmental care while celebrating traditions. The entire school reflected a vibrant festive spirit of joy, unity, and devotion as chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” echoed in the air.
