KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 11, 2024: Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks culmination of the fasting month of Ramzan, was celebrated on Thursday across the Karimnagar district with traditional fervour and gaiety. A large congregation of devotees assembled at Saleh Nagar Idgah in Karimnagar town and participated in special prayers wherein Cleric Mufti Mohammed Fiyaz gave Eid-ul-Fitr message.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mufti Mohammed called upon the Muslims to protect secularism and democracy in the country. “The India had won accolades in the world for its unity in diversity with several religions. But, some of the parties were suppressing the rights of the minorities”, he charged. On this occasion, the Muslims exchanged greetings after the prayers. The Congress leaders led by SUDA chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy, BRS leaders also visited the Idgah to greet the Muslims.

MIM Karimnagar town president Syed Ghulam Ahmed Hussian has participated in the Ramzan celebrations in Chicago in USA along with his family members. H extended his greetings to the Muslims of the integrated Karimnagar district and called upon the people to protect the secular fabric of the country.
