KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 11, 2024: BJP Telangana State Official Spokesperson Rani Rudrama Devi has launched a scathing attack against Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar for telling lies at the historic Sri Anjaneya Swamy devasthanam in Kondagattu of Jagtial district.
Alleging that Mr Prabhakar was speaking in frustration without any political knowledge, she reminded that Ponnam would also face the same fate of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for telling lies at Kondagattu temple shrine and losing the CM post. Similarly, Mr Prabhakar would also lose his Minister post for telling lies at Kondagattu shrine, she warned.
Talking to newsmen at the BJP party office in Karimnagar town on Thursday evening, Rani Rudrama Devi charged that the Congress party does not have any candidate to field from the Karimnagar parliament constituency against the BJP contestant Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Refuting the charges made by Prabhakar against the Karimnagar MP on the development programmes, she demanded that the Minister should release a white paper on the six-guarantees announced by the Congress party.
She asked whether the Congress government had fulfilled the guarantees of waiving Rs 2 lakh crop loans and Rs 15,000 per acre as Rythu Bharosa, Rs 2,500 per month in the bank accounts of women and Rs 4,000 per month as pension to all eligible persons. She reminded that the Karimnagar MP had taken up developmental works to the tune of Rs 1200 crore and accordingly released a book, which was distributed in entire parliament constituency.
Demanding the Minister to read the book released by the BJP MP, she said that she would send the book released by the BJP MP and the assistants to read out the achievements of Bandi Sanjay Kumar. She flayed Mr Prabhakar for not speaking on the corruption charges of BRS leaders including former CM K Chandrashekhar Rao and MLC Kavitha involved in Delhi liquor scam.
She alleged that Mr Prabhakar was having a secret understanding with former Minister K Taraka Rama Rao. BJP leaders G Ramesh, Vasala Ramesh, D Srinivas, Katakam Lokesh, B Kalyan Chandra, A Satyanarayana Reddy, J Swamy, R Satyanarayana, B Ramana Reddy, M Ramesh, A Srinivas, P Sridhar and others were also present.
