TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 16, 2026: Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday inaugurated several initiatives introduced by TTD aimed at enhancing devotee safety, convenience and spiritual experience at Tirumala.
Key launches include:
- Tirumala Healing and Devotion Experience Centre at Vaikuntam Queue Complex–1:
This unique centre offers AI/VR-based spiritual content and guided meditation for waiting devotees, plus employee training.
‘Durlabha Darshan’ VR experience, enabling pilgrims to view a 13-minute 3D, 360° film of Srivari grandeur and special sevas such as Suprabhatam, Thomala, Sahasranamarchana and Abhishekam.
Launch of 32 electric buses (‘Srivari Dharmarathalu’):
Donated by Reliance Industries (25) and Bharat Biotech Foundation (7), raising free bus count from 18 to 50 and daily trips from 300 to 810.
Renovated Sri Venkateswara Museum:
Opened the revamped museum with TCS support across four floors, 14 galleries and 8,000+ artefacts, featuring holographic displays, 360° sound and digital archives.
Group insurance scheme with LIC:
In a first-of-its-kind initiative providing ₹2 lakh free life cover to devotees for up to four days during their Tirumala stay; TTD bears the premium.
Nandakam defect-management App:
With an aim to provide better services to devotees, the new App was launched for 7,043 accommodation rooms, resolving 98.2% of logged issues within the stipulated time during the trial; grievance management to be added next.
The dignitaries present at all the above programmes included State Ministers Sri Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Sri Satyaprasad, TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu, EO Sri Muddada Ravichandra, a few Board members, senior officials and donor representatives.
