TIRUPATI, MAY 11, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple will be observed from May 23 to 31 in a grand manner. The festivities will commence with Ankurarpanam on the evening of May 22.
During the nine-day festival, the deity will bless devotees on various Vahanams through the temple Mada streets amidst Govinda namasmarana. Vahana Sevas will be held daily from 7 am to 9 am and 7 pm to 9 pm.

Major events include Garuda Seva on May 27, Rathotsavam on May 30, and Chakrasnanam with Dhwajavarohanam on May 31.
As part of the festivities, spiritual, devotional and cultural programmes will also be organised daily under the auspices of TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad, Annamacharya Project and Dasa Sahitya Project.
Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam will be conducted in the temple on May 18 from 7 am to 9 am as part of the pre-Brahmotsavam cleansing ritual. The temple premises and puja materials will be ceremonially purified with sacred ingredients and aromatic substances before allowing devotees to have darshan.
