All set for annual Brahmotsavam at Sri Padmavathi ammavari temple in Tiruchanoor

TIRUPATI, NOVEMBER 28, 2024:  TTD EO J. Shyama Rao has said TTD has made all elaborate arrangements for the successful conduct of the annual Brahmotsavam fete of Sri Padmavati ammavari temple, Tiruchanoor from November 28-December 6.

Speaking to media persons after an extensive inspection with TTD officials on the preparations on Wednesday the TTD EO  said TTD has geared up coordinated efforts of all departments to ensure a smooth and comfortable spiritual environment for devotees.

Among others, he said colourful electrical decorations, rangolis, Queue lines, barricades are organised at Ammavari temple and Mada streets at Tiruchanoor.

He said a total of 20 LED screens have been set up in the surrounding areas of Tiruchanur and on the four sides of the Padma Pushkarini to enable the devotees to witness the Brahmotsavam fete.

He said that gates organised to enable the devotees to enter and return to Pushkarini, temporary toilets, signboards, and radio and broadcasting are in place.

He said   On the Panchami Teertham snanam fete 4 holding points have been set up at ZP High School, Pudi Road, Navajeevan and Tiruchanur Gate for the devotees to wait from the evening of 5th December night onwards.  tTD has made arrangements for the supply of drinking water, badam milk, bisbele bath, curd rice, vegetable upma and sweet Pongal to more than 50 thousand devotees through a total of 120 counters,

He said that as part of Anna Prasadam rice, dal, sambar, rasam, sweet and curry will be distributed to 10,000 devotees on a daily basis.

All the Vahana Sevas will be telecast live on SVBC in HD as well as through SVBC online radio and YouTube. He said that 1000 artists are participating in the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Sare Sobhayatra organized from Alipiri to Tiruchanur in Ammavari Vahana Seva.

He said that 300 sanitation workers have been appointed daily and 600 sanitation workers additionally on Panchmithirtham day. He said that tight security arrangements were made with 460 TTD security personnel and district police during Brahmotsavam and 1500 police and 600 vigilance personnel specially on Panchami Theertham day.

Daily 500  Srivari Sevaks 1000 sevaks and 200 scouts and guides will serve the devotees on Panchmithirtha day. On the last day on the 6th of December, it is customary to present a saree to the goddess from the Tirumala Srivari temple to celebrate the Panchmithirtham festival.  He said that Snpana Thirumanjanam will start at 10 am and Panchamithirtham Chakrasnanam will be conducted at Padma Pushkarini between 12.15 pm.

Ankurarpanam and Laksha Kumkumarchana conducted

The Ankurarpanam was performed in Tiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi temple for the annual Brahmotsavam on Wednesday evening.

As a part of this, Punyahavachanam, Raksha Bandhanam, Senapati Utsavam, were performed followed by Ankurarpanam in Yagasala. JEO Veerabrahmam, DyEO Govindarajan, AEO Devarajulu, Archakas and others were present

As a prelude to the annual Brahmotsavam, the Laksha Kumkumarchana was held in Tiruchanoor temple on Wednesday. This fete was held seeking the divine blessings of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru where in scores of women devotees participated.

The Utsava deity of Ammavaru in all Her religious splendour was seated in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam as the divine names were chanted offering vermilion by the Archakas. Temple DyEO Govindarajan, Agama Advisor Manikantha Swamy, Kankana Bhattar Sri Srinivasacharyulu, Archaka Sri Babu Swamy were also present.
