KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 26, 2025: The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour at Achievers Active High School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar, on Sunday
The programme began with the students participating in the ‘Prabhath Bheri’ rally in the town by raising slogans of ‘Jai Jawan- Jai Kisan’, Bharath Matha Ki Jai’ etc. The students also participated in flash mobs to enlighten the importance of Republic Day by presenting cultural programmes on the freedom struggle.
School director Ch Venkateshwarlu and Principal Ch Pallavi launched the celebrations by hoisting the national flag followed by singing of the national anthem. A special assembly was conducted wherein the students had given speeches on the history and the importance of Republic Day. Poems were recited to pay tributes to the nation. A skit depicting the renowned freedom fighters and the leaders of the country was presented.
To celebrate the diversity of India, beautiful dances and meaningful songs were sung by the school choir. A skit depicting the versatility of “our diverse land was worthy of all praise and the heart-touching speeches spoke volumes about our gratitude towards our motherland”.
Director of the School Ch Venkateshwarlu inspired the students with his motivational words and told them to abide by the Constitution of their motherland and fulfil all their duties as responsible citizens.
