TIRUMALA, JANUARY 08, 2026: The 129th Convocation of the 141-year-old Veda Vignana Peetham located at Dharma Giri in Tirumala was held grandly on Thursday.
On this occasion, the Principal of the Veda Vijnana Peetham, Kuppa Siva Subrahmanya Avadhani, stated that 146 students were trained as scholars in Vedas, Agamas, and Smartha traditions.
He expressed his aspiration that the graduates, having transformed from learners into teachers, should go on to nurture good students in the future and emphasised that while everything has an end, education has no end.
Later, 146 graduates who completed their Vedic education were presented with certificates along with Srivari silver coins.
Faculty and students, the office staff, and parents of the students participated in the programme.
