JAGTIAL, FEBRUARY 04, 2025: A woman sub-inspector of Police and a motorist were killed in a road mishap at Chilavakoduru village of Gollapalli mandal on Tuesday morning.
Reports reaching here said that the DCRB Swetha was travelling in her car when the mishap occurred. While to avoid hitting a motorist coming in the opposite direction, the SI lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree succumbing to the injuries on the spot. A motorist, who is yet to be identified, was also killed in the accident.
Swetha had earlier worked at Pegadapalli, Kathalapur, Velgatoor, and Korutla police stations. The police had shifted her body to the Jagtial hospital for post-mortem.Further details are awaited.
