The father and wife of the deceased planned the murder
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 21, 2025: A suspicious death case of a 36-year-old person, Gade Anajaiah in Laxmipur village of Ramadugu mandal has turned out to be an alleged pre-planned murder. The father and wife of the deceased were among the five accused who were arrested in the case.
The arrested were identified as Gade Latchaiah (63), father of the deceased, Gade Sirisha (320, wife of the deceased, supari gang members Upparapalli Koteshwar (31) and Mohammed Abrar (23) and middleman Kolipaka Ravi (55). The police seized mobile phones, a motorcycle and cash worth Rs 40,000 from the accused.
Disclosing this to newsmen here on Sunday, Karimnagar Rural ACP Vijaykumar said that Gade Anjaiah had migrated to Gulf countries in search of employment in the year 2017. When he returned in 2019, he found that his father, Gade Latchaiah, was maintaining an illicit relationship with his wife, Sirisha and warned them to mend their ways.
Irked over this, the deceased person’s wife, Sirisha, had decided to eliminate so that she would continue her relationship with Latchaiah. Accordingly, she hatched a plan and hired a ‘supari’ gang for Rs 3 lakhs. The supari gang members developed a friendship with Anajaiah and were consuming liquor regularly.
As per the plan, the supari gang members took Anjaiah to the village outskirts at the SRSP canal and consumed liquor on December 2. The gang members forced him to consume more liquor, and later Koteshwar strangulated Anajaiah to death, and Abrar held his hands. Later, Ravi informed Latchaiah of the same.
After the darkness, the accused persons dumped the body in the SRSP canal. The police retrieved a body on December 5 and registered a suspicious death case. However, the police investigation found that there was suspicious movement in Latchaiah and Sirisha. After interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime and was arrested along with all five persons. The district’s police higher officials congratulated the police on the detection of the case.
