PEDDAPALLI, APRIL 22, 2024: The Ramagundam Commissionerate of Police have launched a publicity campaign against the Maoists naxalties by releasing posters appealing the general public to alert the police if they notice the suspected Maoists Naxalites on the eve of Lok Sabha elections.
Ramagundam Commissioner of Police M Srinivas along with Mancherial DCP Ashok Kumar, Special Branch ACP Raghavendra Rao and others released the posters in Godavarikhani on Monday appealing the people to discourage the Naxalites.
The posters also informed to public to alert the police if they notice the suspected Naxalites by dialing Ramagundam CP office 08728271333, Peddapalli DCP 8712656502, Mancherial DCP 8712656503, Naxalite information Bureau (NIB) 8712656596. The CP also said that the informants’ information would be kept secret and would be rewarded with the cash rewards. The CP also informed the Maoists naxalties to shun violence and join the mainstream of the society.
