KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 01, 2024: A battalion of Rapid Action Force (RAF) along with Karimnagar town police has conducted a flag march in various parts of Karimnagar town on Friday as part of the familiarisation exercise.
Incidentally, this is the second consecutive flag march conducted by the RAF personnel in Karimnagar town even before the announcement of election notification for the ensuing parliament elections.
The flag march was flagged off from Indira chowk in Karimnagar and passed through Godowngadda, Kashmirgadda, Rythubazaar, Kisannagar, Hussainipura and other areas. Commissioner of Police Abhishek Mohanty said that they would be utilizing the RAF force for the ensuing elections to ensure peaceful conduct of elections and avoid untoward incidents.
RAF Additional Commandant Biswa Ranjan Sahoo marched through all thoroughfares in Karimnagar town along other police officials. Additional DCP C Raju, ACP Narender, Inspectors Ravindra Roshan (RAF), Lalit Gopi Narayan (RAF), Venkatesh, Srinivas, Suresh and others were also present.
