JAGTIAL, APRIL 07, 2024: The Jagtial district police have arrested a 39-year-old person for allegedly blackmailing a woman with her private and intimate photos and demanding her to fulfil his sexual desires on Sunday.
According to the police, the accused, Kotagiri Mohan, is a habitual offender, had met the woman when she was working at an exhibition in Jagtial town in January this year and developed friendship with her. Later, he moved very closely with the woman and took intimate pictures with her in his mobile phone. Later, he was blackmailing the woman demanding her to satisfy his sexual desires by threatening to post the pictures on the social media.
He used to threaten the woman that he was highly influential and he would manage police and press people. He was blackmailing the woman often for his sexual needs. Unable to bear the mental agony, the women lodged the complaint with the police. The Jagital town police registered a case and remanded him to judicial custody. The police have already registered a total of 12 cases against the accused persons including six in Jagtial town, five in Jagital rural police station and one case in Kodimial police station.
