Karimnagar police register three cases against Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy for creating commotion at DRC meeting

KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 13, 2025: The Karimnagar One Town police have registered three cases against Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy for creating commotion at the district review committee meeting and rude behaviour against Jagtial legislator M Sanjay Kumar and others.

Following the complaint lodged by Jagtial MLA’s PA K Vinod Kumar, the police registered. Karimnagar RDO Maheshwar lodged another complaint alleging that the Huzurabad legislator had misled the meeting and created a nuisance by abusing an elected representative. Similarly, the Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha chairman S Mallesham had also complained against Kaushik Reddy for abusing him in the meeting.

Based on the complaints, the police three cases against the Huzurabad MLA under sections 121(1), 132,126 221,351(2) of the BNS Act, 126(2), 115(2), 352, 292 of BNS Act and 132,115(2), 352, 292 BNS Act.

It may be recalled that Kaushik Reddy created commotion in the DRC meeting on Sunday in Karimnagar town by arguing with Jagtial legislator M Sanjay Kumar, who had defected to the Congress party after being elected on BRS ticket. The meeting was chaired by the district in-charge Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Minister for IT D Sridhar Babu and Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar and attended by all the legislators of integrated Karimnagar district.
