ASIFABAD, MARCH 25, 2024: Four youth were drowned in Wardha river at Thatipalli village in Kautala mandal of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on Monday afternoon.
After celebrating the Holi, the youth went to the river to wash themselves and met with watery grave. The deceased youth have been identified as Alam Sai (22), P Kamalakar (25), U Santosh (23) and Y Praveen (24) all hailing from Nadeemabad in Kautala mandal.
Following the news, the police rushed to the spot and deployed the rescue teams to retrieve the bodies. The heartrending scenes witnessed at the incident site with the bereaved family members wailing inconsolably.
