KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 28, 2024: In a swift response from the Gangadhara police helped a woman get back her missing handbag containing gold ornaments weighing 10 tulas and a mobile phone within hours on Wednesday
The police said that Heena Parween (30) from Lakshmidevipalli village of Gangadhara mandal had returned to her village along with her mother in an autorickshaw on Wednesday. While getting down, she left her bag in the vehicle. After realizing about the lost bag, she immediately rushed to the Gangadhara police station and complained.
Immediately, the Gangadhara SI Narender Reddy alerted his entire staff and intensified the checking. He also alerted Cyber, forensic and others in the police department. The police teams identified the auto travelled by the woman and recovered the bag along with the gold ornaments and mobile phone.
Commissioner of Police Abhishek Mohanty congratulated the police officials including SI Narender Reddy, head constables Rajaiah and Krishna Reddy, constables Manikya Reddy and Pradeep and announced reward amounts for their instant. He also distributed appreciation letters to all the police personnel.
