
PEDDAPALLI, NOVEMBER 12, 2024: The Task Force police belonging to the Ramagundam Commissionerate of Police have raided a gambling den on the outskirts of Singireddypalli village under Godavarikhani Two town police station limits and arrested nine persons on Tuesday.
The police also recovered Rs 71,690 cash, nine cellular phones and four motorcycles. Two others escaped from the spot.
On credible information, the Task Force police led by Mancherial Task force Inspector Ramesh Babu, SI Rajesh and others raided the gambling den and arrested nine persons and two others escaped from the spot.
The arrested include; Gandla Sampath (35), Singireddypalle village, Gurrala Tirupati (47) Gunjapadugu, Mohd Jahangir (39) Chandanapur, Ramagiri mandal, Biruka Sammaiah (46), Singireddpalle, Biruka Ramesh (38), Singareddypalle, Mohd Rafi (44), Tilaknagar, Godavarikhani, Kasireddy Narsimhlu (43), Tilaknagar, Godavarikhani, Todeti Ramesh (30), Singareddypalle and Todeti Sravan (31) Singareddypalle. Udara Tirupati (34) from Gunjadagu and Konati Satyanarayana (32) from Singareddypalle escaped from the spot.
The police have launched a massive manhunt to nab the accused persons. The Task force police have handed over the arrested persons to the Godavarikhani Two town police for further investigations.
