KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 28, 2024: The BRS Karimnagar Town has received a rude shock three more municipal corporators husbands albeit ‘Proxies’ are being taken into police custody by the Economic Offences Wing of Karimnagar Commissionerate of Police on Wednesday.
Sources said that the police have arrested former Minister and Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar’s close associates Edla Ashok husband of corporator Edla Saritha, Tula Balayya husband of corporator Tula Rajeshwari and Srinivas, husband of corporator Kashetti Lavanya. They were arrested on the charges of land grabbing with forged documents and terrorising the people in the town and running land mafia.
