HYDERABAD, JUNE 11, 2025: The Chevella police have registered a case against the popular folk singer Mangli for hosting her birthday party at Tripura resort and serving foreign liquor and consumption of contraband ganja at the party on Tuesday night.
Several film celebrities, including Rachcha Ravi, Divi, Kasarla Shyam, Singer Indravathi, and others, attended her birthday party at the resort. The Special Operation Team (SOT) police raided the resort at around 2 am in the wee hours of Wednesday and found several consuming cannabis (ganja). The police also found narcotic drugs, imported liquor in large quantities at the party. Some of the guests of the party have been found positive for narcotics in their blood posttests.
Going into the details, Chevella Police have been given information that cannabis, narcotics and banned foreign liquor are being used at the party. They conducted a raid and seized the liquor bottles. Later, they conducted drug tests on several guests, and some of them tested positive for cannabis.
Chevella Police have registered a case, and they are investigating further into the matter about how Mangli and her guests got hold of the cannabis, foreign liquor in such large amounts. The police seized imported foreign liquor, DJ, which was played without permission.
