
HYDERABAD, JUNE 11, 2025: Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau have registered a disproportionate assets case against former Executive Engineer Nune Sridhar, who worked for the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project, in connection with alleged irregularities in the execution of KLIP, and the officials were taking all measures to arrest the official.
Sources said that the ACB officials have conducted simultaneous raids at 12 locations in the entire Telangana state. The ACB officials have a posh villa at Urjit, Tellapur, a 4500 square feet flat at SKY HIGH at Shaikpet, a four-floor building at Malakpet, a three-floor building in Warangal, a Partnership in several hotels in Karimnagar, the conduct of his son’s destination wedding in Thailand and more.

Sridhar served as the executive engineer in the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation scheme. In 2019, it was Nuni who inspected the project Kaleshwaram Site after complaints of leakages. Nuni submitted a report stating there were no leakages in the project and dismissed complaints of leakages.
Sridhar, currently posted in the CAD Division 8 of the Irrigation Department at the SRSP camp in Choppadandi, Karimnagar. Further details are awaited.
