
NSS volunteer selected for national integration camp
KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 30, 2025: The Project Rescue India Foundation conducted an awareness programme on human trafficking at the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for women in Nugunuru in Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Project Rescue Foundation’s National training and development coordinators Dr Mathew K Daniel and Suhasini Daniel and Counsellor-Researcher Amma Anand enlightened the students about human trafficking in the world and how it was causing huge loss to the world and the mental agonies of the victims. They stressed the need for the conduct of frequent awareness programmes to educate the students and avoid them falling as victims of trafficking.
In another achievement, NSS volunteer G Pushpalatha, a BA final student of the college, was selected to participate in the national integration camp which will be held in Bengaluru of Karnataka state from February 11 to 17, 2025. Principal T Malathi, Vice Principal G Samatha, NSS programme officer K Geetha Rani, faculty members S Padmaja, E Venkateshwarlu, Superintendent T Suresh Kumar and others were also present.
