AR Head constable dies of heart attack in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 27, 2024:  Armed Reserve Head Constable Mekala Srinivas (51) died of heart attack while discharging his duties in the police headquarters in Karimnagar town on Thursday.

The 1995 batch constable Srinivas was discharging his duties in the police headquarters when he suddenly developed pain in his chest and collapsed. His collapsed shifted him to the hospital, but in vain as the doctors declared bought dead.

His body was shifted to his native Sriramulapalli village of Illandakunta village in Karimnagar district. The last rites were performed with full state honours. Additional DCP (AR) Anok Jain and handed over funeral expenses of Rs 20,000 and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members, AR Inspector M Suresh, RSI Suresh and others participated in the funeral.
