Another student dies of stomach pain in Peddapur residential school in Telangana state

JAGTIAL, AUGUST 09, 2024: Yet again, commotion is prevailing in the Telangana residential school in Peddapur village of Metpally mandal following a suspicious death of a student and hospitalization of two other students on Friday.

Sources said that a sixth class student Yedamalla Anirudh died after complaining of severe stomachache as he breathed his last on his way to Jagtial hospital. He is a native of Boppapur village of Yellareddypet mandal in Rajanna-Sircilla district.

Two other students Mandi Mokshith and Alli Hemanth Yadav also complained of stomach pain and they were shifted to Korutla hospital for treatment and later Nizrmabad hospital for better treatment. Mokshith is from Atmakur village in Metpally mandal and Hemanth  from Pathipalli of Mallial mandal.

Korutla legislator Dr K Sanjay Kumar and former ZP chairperson Dava Vasantha and others visited the hospital and consoled Anirudh’s family members.

It may be recalled that on July 25, 2024, Rajarapu Ganaditya (13), an eighth class student, died under the mysterious circumstances in the same residential school. Following the death, Collector B Satya Prasad visited the hostel and suspended the residential school principal K Vidyasagar on the charges of dereliction of his duties.
