KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 24, 2024: The Karimnagar Commissionerate of Police have registered another criminal case against former Minister and Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar’s close aide and district Olympic association and BRS leader Nandelli Mahipal in Manakondur police station.
The Manakondur police have registered a case under IPC sections 420, 467, 386, 506, 120 B r/w 34 against Durgam Jagan Goud, Nandelli Mahipal and Singireddy Venkataramana Reddy. The police have arrested Jagan Goud and Mahipal, who was arrested in a land grabbing case in lodged in Karimnagar jail, and Venkataramana Reddy is at large.
Police source said that the NTPC retired employee Ellala Ajender Reddy, residing in Bhagathnagar of Karimnagar town, purchased 120.5 guntas of land in Sadasivapalli in survey numbers 442, 447/2 and 443 in Manakondur mandal through Durgam Jagan Goud and Tirupati. Later, Singireddy Venkataramana Reddy visited the site and claimed that the land belongs to him. Following the dispute over the land, Jagan Goud, Mahipal and Venkataramana Reddy summoned Ajender Reddy to Sadasivapalli and threatened to kill him. He lodged a complaint with the police, who registered a case arrested Jagan Goud.
