NALGONDA, FEBRUARY 16, 2024: Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau have caught Government General Hospital, Nalgonda, Superintendent Dr Lavudya Lachu red-handed for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakhs for doing official favour at his residence in Nalgonda town.
Sources said that the hospital superintendent had accepted the amount from complainant Rapolu Venkanna for doing official favour of allocating the medicine contract. Both his hands test positive in phenolphthalein test. He was taken into custody and further investigation is on.
