KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 16, 2024: A total of 30 police personnel conducted a surprise raid on the Prathima Regency hotel in Karimnagar town on Saturday and seized Rs 6, 67,32,050 unaccounted cash from accounts office room located in the cellar of the hotel.
Karimnagar ACP Narender said that they had asked the general manager of the hostel P Raghavendra Babu about the details of cash, but he would not tell correct reason. Later, the police videographed the proceedings and after ‘panchanama’ handed over the cash to the Income Tax officials. A total of two ACPs, Three Inspectors, five sub-inspectors and others participated in the checking of entire hotel for about eight hours.
