Relocate the bifurcated three MRO offices on their respective places instead of Karimnagar town and avoid traffic snarls in front of Collectorate
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 22, 2024: Collector Pamela Satpathy has instructed the officials concerned to take all measure for the inauguration of the Integrated District Office Complex (IDOC) in Karimnagar by September 15, 2024, by intensifying the completion of pending works at the earliest.
The Collector inspected the IDOC works on Monday and interacted with the R&B officials, executing agency and others and inquired about the progress of the construction works on Monday. She inspected the construction of ground floor and first floor works and directed the officials to expedite all the pending including flooring, plumbing, electricity, fixation of doors and windows, wash rooms and other works.
She also inspected the Collector chamber and instructed necessary changes. Assuring to clear all the pending bills, she directed the executing agency not to compromise on quality of works. R&B EE Sambasiva Rao, contractor Madhusudhan Raju and other officials were also present.
TAIL PIECE: It is high-time for the authorities concerned to ease congestion in front of the Collectorate by relocating the MRO offices of Karimnagar Urban and Karimnagar Rural to the new locations. The Karimnagar Rural mandal office can be located in Bommakal village on the outskirts of Karimnagar town and Karimnagar Urban MRO at the Padmnagar. The authorities should take measures to shift the existing Kothapalli MRO office to the Kothapalli mandal headquarters instead of locating in Padmanagar in Karimnagar town.
It is irony that the Karimnagar mandal was bifurcated into three mandals and all the three mandals are located in the same Karimnagar town only and adding to the woes of residents of Karimnagar town due to frequent snarls in front of the Collectorate due to heavy traffic jams following the arrival of hordes of people in various vehicles modes of transport for the registration purposes at the tahsildar offices.
