NRI’s gesture to an orphanage in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 21, 2024: Kadarla Anusha, an NRI residing Minnesota, USA, who is also president of the Minnesota Area Telangana Association (MATA) has donated essential commodities worth Rs one lakh to the Spandana voluntary organisation which is running an old-age home in Velichala village of Karimnagar district.

Anusha, daughter of Kadarla Prabhakar and Nagaratna who reside in Ganeshnagar of Karimnagar town, was approached by the Spandana voluntary organisation founder Manchikatla Srinivas and informed about 25 elderly people residing in his orphanage and sought some support. Moved over the plight of the orphans, she has donated a steel almarah, 20 chairs, two tables, a wet grinder, a mixer grinder, six small tables, beds and mattresses, 25 steel plates and glasses for the benefit of the inmates of the orphanage.

On this occasion, Spandana NGO founder Srinivas thanked the noble gesture of Anusha and the MATA of the USA for their humanitarian cause to support the elderly persons of the orphanage in Karimnagar district.
