Fervour marks Teachers’ Day celebrations at Educational Institutions

KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 05, 2024: Various educational institutions in the integrated Karimnagar district celebrated Teachers’ Day and organised various events to add a fun element. The Teachers’ Day commemorates the birth anniversary of educationist and second President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on Thursday.

The Alliance Club of International District 137A celebrated Teachers’ Day at Government Old High School in Karimnagar town by felicitating and presenting mementoes to the teachers of the school. District Governor Ch Venkateshwarlu, Alliance clubs international chairman Dr A Srinivas, other leaders Eeda Kumara Swamy, Kola Anna Reddy, G Nageshwar, Srinivas Gandhi and others were also present.

Similarly, the Teachers Day celebrations were grandly held at Government Degree College for Women (autonomous), Karimnagar. The students felicitated the teachers for their relentless efforts in shaping the minds of countless students. Principal D Varalaxmi and others were also present.

Students don the role of teachers as part of a self-governance day

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: Students of the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for women in Sircilla textile town celebrated Teachers’ day with enthusiasm and respect. The students donned the role of teachers as part of a self-governing day.

College principal PSR Sharma and Vice Principal K Lavanya said that “Teaching is not a time-bound duty. This is a relationship that stays connected with the society for life.”

The students presented several programmes to express respect towards teachers through several activities under the theme ‘My Mentor, My Guide’ to reflect their guidance, support and significant role in shaping the life of youth. The prizes were also distributed to the students for participating in various cultural programmes.
