RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 10, 2024: Faculty members of Commerce, Economics and English Departments of Government Degree College, Gambhiraopet mandal, assisted the students to enroll and participate in the Reserve Bank of India online national quiz competition.
Under the guidance of principal V Vijaya Lakshmi, the faculty members Manohar, Mahesh, Varalaxmi, Sridhar, Anjaneyulu, TSKC coordinator Sravan and others educated the students about the enrolment by logging official website of www.rbi90quiz.in. Besides enlightening the students about reading the bank related information and other economic activities, the college also distributed study material to excel in the online quiz competitions.
RBI as part of its 90th year of bank’s operation, a series of events are being held including ‘RBI90Quiz’ to commemorate this milestone. A nationwide RBI90Quiz is being conducted for undergraduate students. The quiz offers very attractive prizes, is general in nature and is open for participation by students pursuing bachelor’s degree courses across all streams.
Students could enroll till September 17 to participate in this competition and the quiz would be conducted in the last week of September. The students would also get prize money. The first prize is Rs 10 lakh, Rs 8 lakh for second and Rs lakh for third prize would be distributed at the national level.
At the zonal level, the first prize winner will get Rs 5 lakh, while Rs 4 lakh and Rs lakh will be given in the second and third prizes respectively. At the State level, the prizes would be Rs 2 lakh for the first prize, Rs 1.5 lakh for the second prize and Rs 1 lakh third prize.
