KARIMNAGAR, JULY 26, 2024: Congress party Karimnagar parliament constituency incharge Velichala Rajender Rao has alleged that the BRS legislators and MLCs led by former Minister K Taraka Rama Rao launched ‘Project Bata’ to cover up their mistakes and show their presence felt in the state.
The BRS leaders mind was blanked following the presentation of people-friendly and realistic budget by Deputy CM Mallu Batti Vikramarka in the state Assembly. As they were scared of losing identity, the BRS leaders embarked on the ‘Project Bata’, he charged.
In a statement here on Friday, Mr Rajender Rao said that the people will not believe the BRS in spite of playing any number of dramas or yatras. Ridiculing the claims of the BRS leaders as if they have constructed the irrigation projects in the state, he said that the Congress government had constructed all the irrigation projects in the state, which are intact and providing irrigation sources to several lakhs of acres.
He said that the BRS leaders visiting the ‘damaged’ Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project to cover up their mistakes and siphoning off crores of rupees in the name of construction of irrigation project. Flaying the BRS leaders for neglect of land oustees of Mid Manair Dam during their 10 year regime, he said that the people of the Telangana state realized the corrupt BRS government and forcing the state into debt-trap.
