SIDDIPET, JUNE 10, 2026: Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman, Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), visited Kaveri University in Siddipet district on Wednesday. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. V. Praveen Rao, warmly received him.
Prof. Balakista Reddy visited the University’s laboratories, infrastructure, and academic facilities. He addressed the faculty members and shared valuable suggestions on promoting quality research and strengthening higher education standards. He also interacted with faculty members, discussed the current higher education scenario, and sought their views and suggestions.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. V. Praveen Rao felicitated Prof. Balakista Reddy and emphasised that universities should focus not only on producing outputs but also on achieving meaningful outcomes. He urged faculty members to concentrate on innovation, research excellence, and societal impact.
On this occasion, Kaveri University entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quality Thought Training Company to strengthen academic and professional development initiatives.
The programme was attended by University Registrar Dr. B. Srinivasulu, Director Polsani Harsha Rao, Deans Dr. Pratap Kumar Reddy, Dr. Konda Srinivas, and Dr. Sunita Mehta, along with senior professors, Heads of Departments, and faculty members.
