HYDERABAD, MAY 22, 2026: Good news to the chairmen and Boards of Management of all District Cooperative Central Banks (DCCBs) and PACS across the state of Telangana, as the Telangana High Court directed them to resume their responsibilities and discharge their functions in accordance with law.
The High Court of Telangana has granted an interim suspension of G.O. Ms. No. 598 issued by the State Government, whereby the Boards of Management of the District Cooperative Central Banks (DCCBs) were dissolved.

While passing the interim orders, Justice G.M. Moinuddin observed that the Government had failed to furnish reasonable and legally sustainable grounds for dissolution of the elected Boards. The Court further noted that the impugned Government Order prima facie violated the provisions of Sections 32 and 123 of the Telangana Cooperative Societies Act, 1964, and was also contrary to the principles of natural justice.
Accordingly, the High Court suspended the operation of G.O. Ms. No. 598 and adjourned the matter for further hearing to 12th June.
With the issuance of the above interim orders, a way has now been cleared for the DCCB Boards of Management, similar to the PACS Chairmen, to resume their responsibilities and discharge their functions in accordance with law.
On this occasion, the State PACS Chairmen’s Forum state coordinator, Pothula Madhusudhan Reddy, conveys its special thanks and gratitude to all concerned.
