KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 02, 2025: In a remarkable achievement, the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (KDCCB) has created history by earning a gross profit of Rs 119.31 crore during the financial year 2024-25 against Rs 100.10 crore during the last financial year of 2023-24.
The bank deposits have grown from Rs 2,528.90 crore to Rs 2,848.92 crore, an increase of Rs 320.02 (12.65%). Similarly, the Advances have grown from Rs 3,973.34 crore to Rs 4,458.27 crore, an increase of Rs 484.93 (12.20%). The Total Business of the Bank increased by Rs 804.95 crore (11.15%).
The Gross NPA (Non-performing Assets) is pegged at 0.54% during the financial year 2024-25 as against 0.73% last financial year (2023-24). Among all the nine DCCBs in the Telangana state, the Karimnagar DCCB NPA is the lowest with 0.54 per cent and emerged as a role model cooperative bank in the country in general and Telangana state in particular.
Under the dynamic leadership of KDCCB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao, who is also chairman of NAFSCOB, the Karimnagar DCCB is making strides on all fronts and has emerged as a brand in the country. The Karimnagar DCCB, which was running in losses to the tune of Rs 70 crore in the year 2005-06, has made a turnaround in the year 2011 due to the reforms such as digitalization, good governance, no political interference and diversification of business activities.
Now, it managed to earn gross profit of Rs 119.31 crore during the year 2024-25. The KDCCB model is being implemented throughout the country as ‘Telangana model’. Moreover, the Karimnagar DCCB had become a study centre for several cooperative banks in the country and others to visit the bank and PACSs and study its functioning and adopt its good practices. The NITI AYOG had written to the Union government to adopt the Karimnagar model of digitalization, good governance and diversification of the business activities to ensure that all the cooperatives run successfully.
On this remarkable achievement of creating history by securing the highest profits, Karimnagar DCCB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao congratulated the Team members of the bank under the leadership of CEO N Satyanarayana Rao for creating history in the cooperative sector banking. The bank staff, with the support of their customers, has strived hard to reduce the NPA during their month-long special drive of recovery, he stated.

On the other hand, the bank staff celebrated the record fete by bursting fireworks and distributing sweets at the Karimnagar DCCB Main office in Karimnagar town. DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao, Director V Mohan Reddy and others participated in the celebrations.
