
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, OCTOBER 22, 2024: “Accelerating Climate-Resilient Agriculture in Telangana through Data-Driven Agro-Ecological Test Hubs (ACRAT)” project implementation progress evaluated by the project Team at Mamidipalli village near Vemulawada on Tuesday.
Project Experts from Germany, Agriculture Experts from Telangana, NGO’s and Farmers of FPO’s representatives from Mamidipalli, Mangallapalli, Sriramula Palli, Konaraopet, and Sanugula participated in the field visit and discussed the progress achieved so far. They took valuable suggestions for the improvement of the project design.

The test hub’s pilot project is ready to develop sustainable models facilitating optimum usage of inputs like water, pesticides & Agro chemicals along with enhancing the profitability of agriculture among farmer communities. It also introduces technologies which would help in suitable decision making by the farmers and help them practice sustainable farming practices.
The delegation includes Frauenhofer Institute Project Chief Dr Sebastian, Dr. Raghu Chaliganti, Jaan Mistar from NALOMKI, Dr. Martin from German Federal Ministry, Vijay Nadimenti from AgriHub and SEWS Chief Executive Officer Krishna.
