HYDERABAD, AUGUST 13, 2024: To embody the spirit of service above self, Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, has installed two clubs- Sister Nivedita Club and Regent Club on Tuesday.
The ceremony started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the dignitaries. Principal of the school Dr Lalitha Kumari extended a formal welcome to the guests and in her speech reaffirmed the need to groom students through this platform. The chief guest Rotarian Mohan Vamshi, assistant governor of RCHN-District 3150 emphasized on humanistic dimensions of education, which help one to discover one’s self through an inner journey.
The guests of Honour Rtn. Venkat Murali- secretary of Rotary Club of Hyderabad North, Rtn. T. Raghuchandra – Director of New Generation, Rtn. G. M. Rao along with the correspondent Rtn. Harihara Prasad graced the occasion and presented the badges to the new interactors. Rtn Venkat Murali, Secretary emphasised that students to emerge as leaders and initiate themselves for the betterment of society while Rtn. Raghuchandra Thota joined hands with the students to bring the best services throughout this year and he had motivated students to make good content videos that could get recognised by the United Nations.
Rtn. Naresh motivated the interactors to engage themselves in programs and activities with the futuristic vision of being the globally aware denizens of the modern world. The outgoing treasurers of the Interact clubs Ms. Kushi Jain and Ms. Shreya shared their glimpses of the projects and activities taken up by the during the year 2023-2024.
The incoming presidents Ms. K. Vimudha (Sister Nivedita club) and Master Niraj Rajpurohit (Regent club) promised to fulfil their roles and responsibilities for the upcoming year 2024-2025. The present teacher Incharges of interact clubs Mrs. Jalaja and Mrs. Rupa Simon were presented with sashes. The chief guest was felicitated and there were cultural programs based on unity and diversity. Finally, the program ended with the vote of thanks presented by Mrs. Rupa Simon and National anthem.
