KARIMNAGAR, JULY 12, 2024: Students of Achievers Active High School, Kothirampur, Karimnagar town, exercised their franchise to elect the school Head Boy, Head Girl and also leaders of various departments in a democratic process of elections conducted on the school campus on Friday.
A festive atmosphere prevailed on the school campus with the contestants campaigning rigorously after filing their nomination papers, which were scrutinized by the teachers. The students exercised their franchise by showing school ID card as voters ID card and the teachers who acted as polling staff marked indelible ink mark on their fingers.
Some students donned the role of police officials regulating the queue lines and some other videographed the proceedings to ensure transparency in the conduct of elections. School Director Ch Venkateshwarlu and principal Ch Pallavi exercised their franchise and explained the importance of polling process in a democratic set up of the Indian Constitution.
