KARIMNAGAR, JULY 06, 2024: The Telangana State Government has appointed former Rajya Sabha member Dr K Keshava Rao as the advisor to government (public affairs) from the date of assumption of charge on Saturday. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari has issued orders to this effect on Saturday through GO Rt No 930 dated July 6, 2024.
It may be recalled that Mr Keshava Rao had defected from BRS to the Congress party two days ago. He also resigned to his Rajya Sabha membership which was also accepted. The government had respected him by appointing him as Advisor (public affairs) in the status of Cabinet Minister.
