RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JUNE 27, 2024: NAFSCOB chairman and Karimnagar DCCB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao on Thursday distributed financial assistance sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) to the dependents of the bank customers following their accidental death at PACS Gambhiraopet mandal.
The beneficiaries Avunuri Narsavva from Dammannapet village and Gudla Sunitha from Gambhiraopet and Pantham Chinna Laxmi from Gajasingavaram received the cheques from the DCCB chairman. The Gambhiraopet branch manager and others were also present.
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) provide accidental insurance worth Rs. 2 lakh at Rs. 12 per annum, and life insurance worth Rs. 2 lakh at Rs. 330 per annum respectively. The schemes are particularly for people in the unorganised sector. However, it is also open to all SB account holders irrespective of their economic status.
