HYDERABAD, JUNE 16, 2024: Officials of Prohibition and Excise have seized 1.65 kilograms of ganja-laced chocolates worth Rs 7 lakhs from various parties and events in Shamshabad region on Saturday night.
Following the continued vigilance and surprise checks, the Excise police have seized the ganja-laced chocolates from various parts of Hyderabad city. The ganja-laced chocolates were being smuggled from Uttar Pradesh to Hyderabad city.
Similarly, the Excise police have seized 5.070 kilograms of ganja from a house in Hayathnagar on the outskirts of Hyderabad city and arrested three persons. The STF police team lead by inspector Sridhar, SI Jyothi, head constable Lekha Singh, constables Vikas and Ramchander have raided a house and seized the contraband and arrested R Tirupati, R Sai Kiran and C Ganesh.
In another incident, the STF police have seized 1.4 kgs of ganja at Dhoolpet in Hyderabad and arrested two women. Following credible information, the STF police raided the house and seized the contraband and arrested Shalini and Rishi Singh.
